Tom Zimmerman

Affiliate Research Professor and Executive Director of the International Society of Microbial Resistance.  He has extensive experience medical education, and served in the medical education division of the American Educational Association. Dr. Zimmerman was the founding director of the Annenberg Center for the Health Sciences on the campus of the Eisenhower Medical Center at Rancho Mirage, California

Naoru Koizumi

Assistant Professor and Associate Director of the Center for Study of International Medical Policies and Practices, at the School of Public Policy, George Mason University. PhD in Regional Science from University of Pennsylvania (2002), PhD in Environmental and Preventive Medicine, Hyogo College of Medicine, Japan (2005), Post-Doc in Electrical and Systems Engineering Department, University of Pennsylvania where she also worked on various health sector projects in collaboration with the School of Medicine
Interests: Stochastic modeling and simulation in the health and the environmental sectors. Current research projects include forecasting of optimal resource allocations for a mental health system and disease spread modeling and simulation using Geographic Information Systems
